Article Marketing Campaigns – Which sites do you use?
Article marketing is not a new thing – Ezines is massive and within the top 200 sites visited on the planet. For me, writing is my favourite part of working from home and developing an online business. Top internet marketers will recommend that you use some form of article marketing to get the word out about what your business is, what service it provides and to get traffic to your site.
Generally, article marketing sites are free to join but there are some pretty strict rules associated with submitting articles to some sites. It is important to stick to the guidelines or you won’t get your article published and your reputation with the site can be affected. Make sure that your articles are value added for the people reading them. If your article bores you to sobs, re-write it.
As an aside, if you have the cash, there is some really good software out there that can help you to submit your articles to a number of article marketing sites with minimal effort. But, shop around. Prices vary significantly and from what I can see from my research, the benefits you get from any given software is the same for dramatically different prices.

Article announcer costs $379 USD to purchase. It’s a good product and does what it is supposed to do but Article Post Robot does too and costs $49.95 USD a month for three months. That’s a big price difference.

If you don’t have the money to use paid submitter sites or to purchase the software, you can do this yourself. It is time consuming but if you want free traffic then it’s worth it to take the time. Mix your articles up a bit so that people accessing search results for information that your article holds aren’t disappointed by finding the exact same article somewhere else. I’d be annoyed to read the same article posted somewhere else with exactly the same content – it’s time wasting and definitely not value added for your reader.

These will get you started but if you have a very specific niche market, it would pay to search the article sites out there. There are so many that it would be pretty pointless to list them all here. If you find an article site that is specific to your niche, obviously it would be more beneficial to you, your business and the reader to submit there.
